Mediation and Conflict Coaching
F4F provide a range of supportive, yet challenging processes, that enable service users to transform their own situation, so that the learning and change that they create is sustainable in the longer term. Unlike many support services, the purpose of Mediation and Conflict Coaching is to promote independence in the client rather than develop dependence upon ‘experts’ for the resolution of difficult relationships and situations.
Mediation and Conflict Coaching facilitates and supports creative thinking and problem solving which enables different responses to conflict to be identified.
Family Mediation can help where there are unresolved issues between separating parents, which may be impacting upon children. Increasingly, parents will be expected by the Court to have engaged in mediation in an attempt to reach agreed solutions and agreements.
